About Us
Perth Velocity Inline Hockey Club Inc was established in August 1998 after breaking away from Balcatta Bears Roller skating Club due to unavailability of rink time at Balcatta.
At that time the Club President was Peter Jetten and in consultation with all club members the name of Perth Velocity and the playing colours of purple and silver were decided upon.
Our club ethos is that all club members have the right to be treated equally and should be encouraged to develop their skills as far as they wish.
We are a caring club where members help and support each other to achieve their goals.
We welcome new members and assist them to better their skills by constant encouragement and coaching.
At present we are a senior’s only club but are hoping to develop juniors in the future and welcome any inquiries from junior players or their parents.
Our games are played at Morley Rollerdrome on Sundays and Herb Graham Recreation Centre, Chesterfield Road, Mirrabooka on Tuesdays. All Skate Australia members are welcome to join us.
Tuesday games are played from 8-9.30pm and Sundays are from 6.30-7.30pm. Players are encouraged to be at the venue 30minutes to the start time so that teams can be organized and games start on time.
Playing jerseys are provided for use at both venues.
Club meetings are held once a month with all members invited and notified via email.
